This bottle is a commemorative edition for the 200th anniversary of the founding of The Macallan. Its exclusive case is decorated with 200 tips, each symbolizing a year since the creation of the distillery, paying tribute to its legacy. The case design follows the tradition of Japanese origami, reflecting the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Inside, we find a circular bottle, an innovative and distinctive design that departs from the conventional forms used in the whiskey industry, standing out for its originality and elegance.
TASTING NOTES
COLOR: In the glass, it presents with a vibrant golden amber, reflecting the depth and complexity acquired during its maturation process in selected barrels. Its intense brightness is a visual prelude to the richness it holds within.
NOSE: As the nose approaches, a fascinating bouquet of aromas unfolds, combining ripe dried fruits, delicate spices and subtle notes of toasted oak. A soft touch of vanilla and caramel mingle with an elegant background of sherry and hints of orange peel, creating a thought-provoking complexity.
