TASTING NOTES
COLOR: In the glass, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs presents itself with a brilliant pale golden colour, almost translucent, reminiscent of the soft glow of a sunrise. Silvery reflections add a touch of luminosity, and the finesse of its bubbles unfold in an elegant dance, forming a persistent necklace that slowly rises, anticipating the freshness and delicacy that awaits us. It is a visually attractive wine, inviting to be admired for both its clarity and its vivacity.
NOSE: On the nose, Blanc de Blancs offers a refreshing first impression, marked by the presence of bright citrus fruits such as lemon peel and green apple, which awaken the senses. As the wine breathes, more complex notes unfold: white flowers such as jasmine and orange blossom intertwine with delicate suggestions of toasted almond and a light touch of brioche, reminiscent of its aging on lees. A mineral, almost saline background envelops the nose, evoking the purity of the Champagne terroir, with a gentle sensation of freshness that keeps the aromatic complexity in balance, without losing its vitality.
TASTE: When tasting it, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is as elegant as anticipated on the nose. On the palate, its attack is fresh and enveloping, with a creamy texture that slides smoothly over the palate, leaving a sensation of finesse and refinement. The vibrant, yet perfectly integrated acidity provides a structure that gives life to the wine, while its almost ethereal minerality blends with a slight salinity that accentuates the sensation of freshness. As it progresses on the palate, notes of ripe citrus fruits appear, such as mandarin, and hints of toasted bread that lengthen into a clean and persistent finish.
