Widow Jane 10 Ans High Rye Barrel 1086 is an American whiskey made exclusively for the 60th anniversary of La Maison du Whisky by Widow Jane's distillery, founded in 2014. A limited edition of 250 bottles from a single barrel. The grain comes from a Rosendele farm in New York, USA, and the spring water is sourced from the old Rosendale mine called "Widow Jane".

Handcrafted in Brooklyn from the richest and rarest bourbons, only in 5-barrel batches, unfiltered and made with our own mineral water from New York's legendary Rosendale Mines, we offer a whiskey unique in its intensity and complexity.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: This bourbon reveals a deep amber with golden glints that shine under the light, evoking the warmth of an autumn sunset. Its rich and enveloping tone reflects the maturity it has achieved after ten years of aging in oak barrels.

NOSE: On the first inhalation, a mixture of intense and complex aromas unfolds. The notes of aged wood merge with a subtle sweetness of vanilla and a touch of burnt caramel. There are also flashes of toasted nuts, such as walnuts and almonds, accompanied by a slight spicy nuance, where light touches of cinnamon and cloves are perceived, which provide a welcoming and deep air.

TASTE: The first sip is smooth but full of character, with a creamy texture that envelops the palate. The entrance is slightly sweet, with notes of honey and toffee that elegantly blend with the robustness of the wood. As it develops, the spicy notes become more present, with a hint of black pepper and a slight aftertaste of dark chocolate, leaving a warm and lasting sensation, with a toasted oak finish that lingers in the mouth.
