After almost 15 years, the wine is even more expansive. In the darkness of the cellar, its inner activity has increased. The opposite and complementary elements of the blend resonate with each other, generating new energy. The uniqueness of Dom Pérignon resonates louder and clearer than ever.
BLEND
A combination of chardonnay and pinot noir that offers the wine aromas of red fruits, candied citrus fruits added to the aging between twelve and fifteen years the champagne acquires expressiveness and offers an intense bouquet with aromas of honeysuckle, fruit, toasted almond and iodized notes.
TASTING NOTES
COLOR: Golden straw yellow color with greenish reflections.
NOSE: Citrus notes of pink grapefruit and blood orange give way delicately to figs. Additional time on the lees intensifies the minerality of the vintage with the sublime ripeness that represents the signature Dom Pérignon. Plénitude 2, 2004, has notes of cocoa, mocha, toasted nuts, brioche and honey.
TASTE: The wine balances on the edge with immediacy and surprise, evolving between tension and weightlessness. It has extreme precision, tactile, profound and sculptural. The sensations meld into a lingering, elegant finish, highlighted by notes of licorice and sap.
