TASTING NOTES
COLOR: The Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé is a bright pale pink colour that reflects a serene elegance. Its delicate and silky hue evokes a spring sunset, when the sky is tinted with soft pink hues. The fine bubbles gently rise through the liquid, creating a continuous effervescence that promises freshness and refinement. The clarity of the glass, almost crystalline, highlights the purity of the wine and its visual appearance is undoubtedly an invitation to the sensorial experience.
NOSE: On the nose, the Belle Epoque Rosé opens with an enveloping fragrance, delicate but complex. Floral notes of fresh white flowers such as jasmine and acacia are first perceived, which are mixed with a vibrant touch of ripe red fruits, with raspberries, strawberries and a subtle hint of cherry standing out. As the wine is aerated, deeper notes appear, such as a hint of toasted brioche and a slight minerality that gives a sensation of freshness. The aromatic complexity unfolds subtly, without being overwhelming, inviting continued exploration with each inhalation.
TASTE: On the palate, this champagne is a true expression of balance and sophistication. The entry is fresh and vibrant, with acidity that provides an agile and elegant structure. As the wine settles on the palate, a creamy, almost silky texture is felt, which contrasts perfectly with the initial freshness. The flavors of red fruits, fresh and juicy, unfold with clarity and depth, and merge with a delicate touch of yeast and brioche, inherited from its aging. The minerality, present in a subtle way, brings a dry and precise touch to the whole. The finish is long and clean, with a notable persistence of red fruits and a slight bakery aftertaste, which provides complexity and roundness. This champagne invites to be savored slowly, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and balance.
