Yellow Label is the signature of Veuve Clicquot’s quality and style, recreated every year thanks to our priceless collection of reserve wines. Its brilliant yellow label reflects the champagne’s bright personality and impeccable winemaking credentials.
BLEND
Grapes from as many as 50 to 60 different Crus are used for the blending of Yellow Label. The predominance of Pinot Noir provides the core structure of Clicquot, while a touch of Meunier rounds out the blend. Chardonnay adds the elegance and finesse essential to a perfectly balanced wine.
He blends 30-45% reserve wines with grapes from as many as 50 to 60 different crus. The Pinot Noir predominance (50-55%) provides the structure that is so typically Veuve Clicquot, while Chardonnay (28-33%) adds the elegance and finesse essential in a perfectly balanced wine, and a touch of Meunier (15-20%) rounds out the blend.
The long aging in our Crayères (3 years minimum for Yellow Label) gives silkiness to the Champagne.
TASTING NOTES
Tightly knit, focused by robust acidity and a streak of minerality, this offers subtle notes of white peach, anise, biscuit and kumquat. The refined finish echoes a smoky note. Drink now through 2022.
COLOR: Tiny bubbles permeate the bright, golden-yellow Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label in the glass.
NOSE: On the nose, aromas of peaches and raisins reflect the grape varietals, while the ageing process results in notes of vanilla and toasted brioche.
TASTE: Fresh and full-bodied, Yellow Label Brut is well structured, with a robust acidity and a streak of minerality.
