YSIOS White 75 cl

Ysios Blanco blends grapes from the “Cabezada” of different plots grown in Rioja Alavesa, between Laguardia, Elvillar and Páganos. 

The grapes are harvested by hand, in small boxes of 10 kg. Once in the winery, cold maceration is carried out for 12 hours. The yolk must and the first pressing, carried out at low pressure, are fermented in different formats, which are subsequently blended to make the final blend.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: Bright straw yellow.

NOSE: Intense and perfumed. It shows the most floral and delicate side of the old vines of Rioja Alavesa. Floral notes are appreciated, such as acacia, along with aromas of white fruit, such as apple or pear. Citrus aromas are also found, such as orange and tangerine peel, which are completed with subtle toasted notes typical of barrel aging in contact with its lees. A perfectly integrated aromatic complexity.

TASTE: Taut and nervy, but with a nice texture and complexity. White flowers, apple, pineapple, orange peel, hints of minerals and soft toast. It is a very complex and elegant wine, with a long, creamy, enveloping finish and great freshness.
