Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels.
Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels (95 %) and Central European oak barrels (5 %).

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: In the glass, Finca El Bosque appears with a bright golden hue, of medium intensity, which shines with greenish reflections and flashes of youth. The clarity is exceptional, with a clean and luminous layer that highlights its natural freshness. It is a visually attractive wine, which invites you to delve deeper into its complexity before tasting it.

NOSE: On an olfactory level, the wine displays a wide range of aromas that open in layers as the glass is swirled. The first impression is fresh, dominated by notes of white fruits such as green apple, pear and a subtle hint of peach, which give it a feeling of vitality. Over time, floral nuances of white flowers, such as jasmine, and a delicate herbal perfume reminiscent of fresh basil and bay leaves open. As the glass is oxygenated, light touches of toasted almond and a soft trace of wood also appear, indicating its aging in barrels. The integration of these aromas shows a perfect balance between fruity freshness and the complexity derived from the barrel, creating an elegant and sophisticated olfactory profile.

TASTE: On the palate, Finca El Bosque is presented with a fresh and vibrant entrance, with a well-marked acidity that gives it an intense and refreshing energy. The texture is smooth, but it has a subtle structure that gives it body and a certain creaminess, derived from its aging on lees. The fruity flavors develop on the palate with notes of citrus and ripe white fruits, accompanied by a minerality that gives it depth and a sense of terroir. The passage through the barrel is noticeable in the subtle touch of wood, which adds complexity without taking away freshness from the whole. The finish is long, elegant, leaving a persistence that recalls the freshness of the fruits and a delicate aftertaste of nuts and spices. It is a wine with great balance, where acidity, body and aromas merge harmoniously, inviting another glass.
