MACAN Tinto 2019 is a high-end wine from the Macan winery, an ambitious project born from the collaboration between the prestigious Vega Sicilia Group and the Rothschild family. Located in La Rioja, this winery seeks to combine the tradition of the region with international winemaking experience to create exceptional wines. MACAN Tinto 2019 is a refined expression of the potential of Tempranillo, grown in selected vineyards and worked with meticulous attention to detail. Its prolonged aging in oak barrels gives it a structure and elegance that make it ideal for those looking for a unique and complex wine experience.

The blend is composed primarily of Tempranillo, with a touch of other native varieties, which add complexity and balance to each glass.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: MACAN Tinto 2019 has a deep and bright colour, an intense red that reflects its concentration and elegance. When tilting the glass, ruby ​​and violet tones can be seen, which show the youth and power of the wine. Its visual appearance is clean and bright, revealing its careful winemaking process and the quality of the grapes used.

NOSE: On the nose, this wine reveals a fascinating aromatic complexity, which evolves as it is aerated. In the foreground, notes of ripe black fruits are perceived, such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by a spicy touch of black pepper and a delicate background of dried herbs. Over time, subtle nuances of barrel aging emerge, such as light hints of tobacco, cocoa and a touch of vanilla, which add depth and sophistication to the whole. The nose is rich, enveloping and with a great capacity for evolution.

TASTE: On the palate, the MACAN Tinto 2019 is structured and balanced, with a smooth entry and a broad mid-palate. The texture is silky, but with a firmness that is felt in the tannins, which are well integrated and provide solid support. Its precise and fresh acidity balances the concentration of flavours, and on the palate a sensation of spaciousness and harmony is perceived. The finish is long and persistent, with a refined aftertaste that recalls the sensations of its ageing in wood. It is a wine with great aging potential, which promises to continue to evolve favourably over time.
