TASTING NOTES

COLOR: The liquid is presented with an intense amber hue, similar to a deep and radiant gold, reflecting the richness of its ageing process. As the light passes through it, reddish and copper flashes can be distinguished that evoke the warmth of a sunset, suggesting a complexity that can only be achieved with years of maturation in oak barrels. This appearance not only captivates the eye, but promises an equally rich sensory experience.

NOSE: As you approach the glass, a range of surprising aromas opens up. The nose is first greeted by a warm embrace of vanilla and caramel, as if it were a sweet delicacy of the highest quality. Quickly, a layer of spices takes over, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and a slight hint of clove that intertwine in the air. As it intensifies, the fragrance becomes more complex, with notes of dried fruits, such as dried plums, raisins and even a light touch of ripe figs. The toasted oak is noticeable, but with a softness that invites further exploration. There is a subtle freshness, reminiscent of a light touch of dried herbs, completing a multifaceted aromatic profile that draws you to continue exploring its depth.

TASTE: When the liquid comes into contact with the palate, a powerful and enveloping sensation is unleashed. The first impression is an explosion of warm spices, especially black pepper and a hint of clove, which are quickly softened by the sweetness of caramel and brown sugar. The intensity of its alcohol content is perceived, but in a balanced way, without overshadowing the complexity of the flavors. In the middle of the mouth, notes of dried fruits such as raisins and dates unfold, accompanied by a touch of candied orange peel that provides a pleasant freshness. The texture is surprisingly velvety, given its high alcohol content, with a softness that blends with the robustness of the oak tannins. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a sensation of warmth that continues to resonate in the mouth. The spicy oak notes and the residual sweetness of the caramel combine, giving way to a slightly toasty aftertaste that invites you to enjoy another sip.
