BLANTON´S The Original

Taken from the central or central sections of the famous Warehouse H, the Blanton Original Single Barrel was once designated for ambassadors, dignitaries and family members and friends of Colonel Blanton. Today, everyone has access to the world’s first unique barrel bourbon.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: Blanton’s The Original comes in a vibrant golden amber hue, with warm glints that capture the light in a captivating way. Its deep color reflects the rich tradition and time of aging in oak barrels, revealing the complexity hidden in each drop.

NOSE: As you approach the glass, Blanton’s releases a seductive invitation. Sweet aromas of fresh vanilla are perceived in the foreground, followed by a warm touch of honey and caramel. Gradually, subtle layers of spices such as cinnamon and clove emerge, mixed with a hint of ripe fruits: a light cherry and caramelized apple. The charred oak that gives it character appears discreetly, complemented by a soft fragrance of aged leather and a hint of nut, creating an enveloping and rich sensation.
TASTE: Upon taking the first sip, Blanton’s unfolds with remarkable smoothness. The texture is creamy and full, embracing the palate with its complex flavors. Notes of ripe fruits such as plums and pears are perceived, accompanied by the warm and sweet touch of toasted caramel. As it progresses, the flavor deepens with a touch of bitter cocoa, followed by subtle spices such as nutmeg and a slight aftertaste of toasted oak.
