Since 1932, Ricard has established itself as one of the favorite aperitifs for French people (source: Prime 2021). The secret recipe has remained unchanged since its creation by Paul Ricard in 1932. It's characterized by its quality and variety of natural ingredients, including star anise, fennel anise, licorice, and aromatic plants from Provence.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR: Amber.
NOSE: There’s a green, almost grassy, note to the pungent anise and licorice nose.
FLAVOUR: The muscular palate demand taming with. Rich anise, but bone dry with a touch of fennel and herbal complexity, soft licorice and minty lemon freshness.
FINISH: Long lingering herbal licorice.
