Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009 is a sophisticated and refined expression of the tradition of the prestigious house of Ruinart. Made mainly from Chardonnay and a small proportion of Pinot Noir, this vintage rosé champagne reflects the perfect harmony between freshness and complexity. Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009 is composed of 85% Grand Cru chardonnays, predominantly from the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Avize, Chouilly, and Mesnil-sur-Oger), the Montagne de Reims (Sillery), and 15% Grand Cru pinot noirs.
TASTING NOTES
COLOR: The Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009 presents a soft, bright pink colour, with nuances reminiscent of a delicate salmon hue. In the glass, its fine, persistent bubbles dance slowly, revealing an effervescent texture that translates into a sensation of freshness and elegance. As the wine is oxygenated, the hue becomes even more captivating, with golden reflections suggesting refined maturity.
NOSE: On first inhalation, a deep and complex aromatic palette unfolds. Fresh red fruits, such as raspberry and wild strawberry, dominate the scene, followed by a subtle floral note, reminiscent of rose petals and violets. As the wine opens, soft nuances of dried fruit, such as toasted almonds, and a discreet layer of sweet spices, such as cinnamon and a hint of pink pepper, emerge.
