With more than 40 years of history, this 18-year-old expression stands out for its meticulous production process, which combines the purity of mountain water and a unique climate to create an exceptional distillate. TASTING NOTES

COLOR: The Hakushu 18 years presents a beautiful golden hue, bright and warm, with reflections that capture the light in an attractive way. Its deep and nuanced colour reflects the complexity that has developed throughout its ageing, inviting curiosity before even tasting it.

NOSE: As it approaches the glass, the first olfactory impact is fresh and vibrant, with a mix of herbal notes reminiscent of a mountain forest. As it opens up, more complex nuances emerge, such as light floral notes and a hint of smoke that seems to dance in the air. The subtle sweetness of the aged wood is also noticeable, along with a freshness that evokes the purity of the mountain water with which it is distilled.

TASTE: On the palate, the Hakushu 18 years offers a sensation of exquisite balance. The entrance is smooth and enveloping, with a creamy texture that slowly unfolds, revealing layers of perfectly integrated flavours. Natural sweetness meets a hint of spice and a slight bitterness that comes from its maturation in barrels. The finish is long, elegant and slightly dry, leaving a pleasant persistence that invites you to continue exploring its complexity, but with enough smoothness to not be heavy.
