The Jameson Deconstructed Series is a stripped down study in taste. It started out as a question: “What would happen if we pulled apart Jameson Irish Whiskey and amplified its key characteristics?”. The answer was three great tasting whiskeys that live up to their deconstructed.name.

LIVELY

When you pull something apart and amplify its key characteristics, anything can happen. Thankfully, Jameson Lively goes with the grain. Part of The Deconstructed Series, it unlocks the grain element of Jameson Irish Whiskey while still maintaining the pot still whiskey part of the blend. Add to that its zesty notes and liquorice finish and you have a whiskey that leaps into life.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: A delicate floral perfume with hints of Turkish Delight is complimented by the crispness of fresh pine. A touch of lime zest and unripe pears contribute to the fruit notes while crushed fresh herbs complete the delicate balance.

TASTE: A soft sweet mouth-feel with hints of confectionary, perfume bon-bons along with a Turkish Delight. Drying hints of citrus balance the sweetness while a little chilli oil brings the prickle of spices.

FINISH: Pleasantly long as the confectionary sweetness and spices combined leave just a touch of liquorice to finish.

BOLD

The Deconstructed Series pulls apart and amplifies Jameson Irish Whiskey’s key characteristics to put taste at the heart of the conversation. When it comes to talking about Jameson Bold, there is nothing else to say other than it is a chip off the old block and quite simply, pot still perfection.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: On approach look for the red apple and ripe banana before the spices appear. Soft green pepper and nutmeg are given some sweetness by the vanilla and cinnamon, Subtle woodland notes on a background of Barley straw bring added depth.

TASTE: Initially sweet and creamy, with an abundance of stove fruits. The pot still spices develop to bring a perfect balance of rich barley notes and mellow baked apples.

FINISH: Lingering spices fade leaving a soft barley finale.

ROUND

Part of The Deconstructed Series, Jameson Round is like stepping into one our maturation houses without having to leave your sofa. Because we combine whiskeys matured in virgin American oak barrels, bourbon barrels and sherry butts, you can enjoy a world of robust notes with a rounded taste. 

While it celebrates Jameson’s signature smoothness, Jameson Round gives the barrel the final say.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: A step inside one of our maturation warehouses. The combination of American and European oak brings some robust notes of leather, pipe tobacco and walnuts. A little vanilla sweetness shows through giving hints of coffee cake.

TASTE: Everything in prefect harmony. Sweet vanilla fuses with soft ripe fruit and, together, combine with the rich pot still spices. All this on a firm foundation of toasted oak.

FINISH: Exceptionally long, as the richness fades to leave the last word with the wood.
