TASTING NOTES
COLOR: The liquid has a deep, bright amber hue, exuding warmth. Its color, almost dark copper, reflects the maturity and character it has acquired during its time in toasted oak barrels.
NOSE: As the glass approaches, the first impact is a smooth blend of sweetness, where notes of creamy caramel, toasted vanilla and a subtle hint of dried fruit emerge. As it opens up, spicy, slightly smoky wood fragrances appear, along with a faint whisper of dark cocoa and a touch of brown sugar that completes the bouquet.
TASTE: On the palate, Michter's feels elegant and round, with an impeccable balance between sweetness and spice. The entry is smooth, almost silky, revealing layers of molasses, toasty oak and a touch of ripe fruit, such as plums and dried figs. As the whiskey moves across the palate, notes of walnut and dark chocolate emerge, with a light warmth that leaves a lingering, pleasantly smoky finish.
