Plantation Australia 2007 is an exceptional rum that reflects the tradition of the Plantation brand, known for its focus on unique aging and the origin of its spirits. Sourced from the sugar cane plantations of Australia, this rum benefits from a double maturation process: first in the hot climate of Australia and then in the Caribbean, in the Barbados Islands. This technique gives it a complexity that highlights both the local characteristics and the art of distillation and aging. Ideal for those looking for a sophisticated and well-balanced experience in every sip.
TASTING NOTES
COLOR: The rum has a bright amber color with golden highlights. Its warm tonality evokes a sensation of maturity and prolonged aging, as if it were a liquid jewel that captures the light.
NOSE: On the nose, this Plantation unfolds with an intriguing mix of ripe tropical fruits: mango, pineapple and papaya. As it aerates, deeper notes of molasses, brown sugar and a soft touch of spice emerge, such as cinnamon and vanilla, along with a slight hint of toasted wood. The fragrance is rich and enveloping, promising a complex mouthfeel.
TASTE: When tasted, it starts soft and fruity, with a natural sweetness reminiscent of ripe fruit nectar. The texture is smooth and creamy, and a spicy profile quickly develops, with hints of cocoa and a subtle hint of oak. The influence of its double aging is clearly perceived in the perfect balance between the smoothness of the French oak and the tropical warmth that remains in the aftertaste, leaving a pleasantly persistent and sweet sensation.
