JACK DANIEL'S Nº7 Legacy Edition 2

Just like the name ‘Old No. 7,’ the history of our label is a bit of a mystery. Some say we chose the color to mourn Mr. Jack’s death; others don't think we chose it for any reason at all. We may never know for sure, but we are certain this label was one of the very first times it was predominantly black. 

Our second bottling in the Jack Daniel's Legacy Edition Series is a return to one of the first instances of Jack's iconic black label. It's a symbol of our enduring spirit, an ode to Mr. Jack's color of choice and, well, just a good bottle of whiskey. So enjoy a sip or two of Jack Daniel's history.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: In the glass, Jack Daniel's Nº7 Legacy Edition 2 appears with a deep and warm golden colour, reminiscent of an autumn sunset. Its amber tone, with coppery reflections, invites you to discover the complexity hidden behind its appearance, suggesting a perfect maturation in oak barrels that have left their mark on the character of the whisky.
NOSE: The first encounter with the nose reveals a harmonious blend of sweet and spicy aromas. An initial layer of creamy vanilla intertwines with notes of toasted wood, allowing the soft and slightly fruity smoke to peek out in the background. When swirled, subtle hints of caramel emerge, with a slight hint of green apple, evoking the softness and balance that defines this whisky. It is an enveloping perfume that invites you to continue exploring.

TASTE: The palate is immediately caressed by a silky and well-balanced texture. A combination of golden honey and ripe fruit flavours unfolds, with a layer of caramel that melts delicately on the tongue. As it progresses, notes of aged oak and a slight hint of nuttiness appear, adding depth and complexity. The finish is long, warm and slightly spicy, with a smooth persistence that leaves a sweet and slightly smoky aftertaste.
