Smogóry Forest is crafted with rare Diamond Dankowskie rye from a single estate located in Smogóry, a tiny village in rural Western Poland surrounded by the region’s vast, pristine forests. This exceptionally bold, robust and savory vodka captures the essence of its unspoiled region, recalling the dense hardwood forests dominating the terroir.
The Single Estate Rye Series celebrates Belvedere’s craftsmanship and expertise in vodka distilling, as well as our ability to produce vodkas of complex character. When tasted side by side, the two vodkas deliver demonstrably different taste profiles, illustrating the variation of terroir on the same Dankowskie Diamond rye grown in each unique location.

TASTING NOTES
COLOR: Belvedere Smogóry Forest has a crystal-clear, clean and bright colour, with silvery reflections that reflect its purity. In the glass, it is distinguished by its transparency and delicately elegant appearance, suggesting a refined smoothness and a meticulous distillation process.
NOSE: As you approach the nose, this vodka offers a fascinating aromatic complexity. Initially, subtle notes of freshly baked bread are perceived, accompanied by a soft touch of honey that provides sweetness and depth. In the background, delicate notes of salted caramel and a herbaceous freshness emerge, evoking the calm of the Smogóry forests. There is a slight but significant presence of toasted cereals, which merge with a delicate nuance of vanilla, adding an enveloping and sophisticated air.
TASTE: On the palate, the texture is exceptionally smooth and velvety, starting with a feeling of luxury that runs through the palate. The flavours develop gradually, offering a toasted bread profile with a slight salinity that provides character. The aftertaste reveals sweet hints of honey and salted caramel, with a long, enveloping finish that leaves a warm, almost creamy sensation. The balance between the softness of the honey and the slight salinity offers a rich and complex tasting experience, evoking the purity of its origin in the heart of the Polish forests.
