TASTING NOTES
COLOR: The rum presents itself in a beautiful golden amber hue, with reddish undertones that reveal its long maturation. Clarity is remarkable, with a slight density suggesting good body, while its bright appearance invites further exploration.
NOSE: As the glass approaches, a range of complex aromas unfolds: a soft essence of dried fruits, mixed with the warmth of old wood. Hints of molasses and a touch of sweet spice are perceived, evoking a cozy atmosphere. The influence of the French oak barrel is evident, with an elegant suggestion of vanilla and subtle hints of cocoa. In the background, a light fragrance of ripe fruit, such as peaches or plums, adds a layer of freshness.
TASTE: The entry is smooth but with a structure that leaves a velvety sensation on the palate. Ripe tropical fruit flavors unfold, followed by a light touch of warm spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg. Wood plays a prominent role, providing a creamy texture that blends harmoniously with the softness of cane sugar and a touch of smoky oak. The finish is long and enveloping, leaving a vanilla and toffee sensation that lingers delicately.
